The Syrian incidents have not impacted on Azerbaijani plans on selling gas to this country, SOCAR Vice-president Elshad Nasirov said.
"Everything is ready for sale of gas. If they want to purchase gas, we will sell it", he said.
Moreover, Nasirov did not exclude that the Syrian incidents would impact gas sale to this country: "The realization of these plans will depend on how the ongoing processes will end there. The Syrian side is intending to purchase gas from us. But if the unrest continues, maybe they will not be able to buy our gas".
"Pipelines in the territory of Turkey must be completely constructed from technical standpoint for delivering Azerbaijani gas to Syria. These works are still going on and are expected to end until the end of the year".
