President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected rebuilding work in the capital and construction of new roads on July 27.

President Ilham Aliyev first viewed ongoing Azneft square-Bilgah settlement roadside improvements, AzerTaj reported.

Reconstruction work in the Heydar Aliyev avenue, one of Baku`s major highways, ensured safe and speedy flow of traffic, eased congestion and safety of pedestrians.
In accordance with the Head of State`s instructions, reconstruction work meets modern standards. External appearance of buildings is being improved with the lighting system installed.

Reconstruction in other parts of the Heydar Aliyev Avenue is going on as well.
The Head of State was curious about the new four-lane road being built from Sabunchu circle to Bilgah settlement. Sabunchu circle-Heydar Aliyev International airport is already being used.
Construction of the 6.85km-long Mardakan circle-Heydar Aliyev international airport highway is underway. It will be followed by building of the Mardakan-Bilgah road. There will be three overpasses and four pedestrian crossings along the Heydar Aliyev International Airport-Bilgah highway. Mardakan circle-Zagulba road will be 7 km and 650 meters in length and Zagulba-Bilgah road 4 km and 250 meter.

President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about the future reconstruction on the tracks for electric cars running to Bakikhanov settlement, Zabrat, Buzovna, Mardakan and Gala.
This track will be removed in the near future to build a new highway instead. It will easier for people to access Baku`s suburbs. Buses will be also operating on this road.
The Head of State gave his instructions to perform high-quality work.
