Iran intends to build tractor plant in Azerbaijan, Iran's Urmiya
Tractor Plant Director International Affairs Hasan Allahverdizade said
over telephone from Urmiya.
He said samples of tractors produced by this plant have been sent to Azerbaijan. "We have sent 20 tractors to Azerbaijan to learn about country's market. Their total cost is $200,000," Allahverdizade said.
Urmiya Tractor Plant has a representative office in Azerbaijan. "The tractors we sent will be presented to landowners in various regions in Azerbaijan. We plan to open representative office in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region," he said.
