In January-March 2009, the IT production and IT services hit 208.5 million manat (increase 3.9 percent), the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reported.
The growth of transmitting devices hit 31.1 percent, to devices for receiving, recording sound and images -3.7 times, sales of computers, peripherals, software (SW) - 20.4 percent, household appliances and radio aids - 2.1 fold and telecommunications - 4.9 percent.
The average salaries of IT employees were increased by 14.9 percent to 423.3 manat.
