"New projects in connection with emergency situations are being developed in Russia, preparations are being to made to establish management center in critical situation," said Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia Sergey Shoigu, who is visiting Azerbaijan, said, APA reports.

Highly assessing the visit the minister said at the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that clearance of oil polluted areas had been discussed and the process would start soon.

Meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Kamaladdin Heydarov, Sergey Shoigu said that the results of the two-year cooperation between the bodies of the two countries would be discussed.

"Protocol on future cooperation will be signed within the framework of the visit," he said.

Sergey Shoigu expressed his satisfaction with the existence of modern equipment in connection with emergency situations in Azerbaijan.
