As of May 1, 2008 the National Bank of Azerbaijan’s official monetary reserves stood at $4 306.6 million, up 7.26% or $291.4 million from January 1.
The country’s strategic currency reserves, composed of the financial assets of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan and the Government, surpassed $10 billion.
