Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economic Development has worked a concept of the project of creating an industrial city near Sumgayit (Yashma settlement).
The due announcement was made by head of the Ministry's Board Samir Veliyev.
"The exact site for the city creation is currently being defined. Later the state budget will allocate funds for creation of the infrastructure".
It should be added that the Azerbaijani government has already decided to create an industrial city on the territory of the idle enterprises of Sumgayit. Definite funds have been assigned for the project implementation in the framework of the state investment program.
The decree on creation of an industrial city will be ratified by the Cabinet of Ministers.
