Discussions of prospects of cooperation in the sphere of education were initiated between Azerbaijan and Jordan in Baku.
The due information was provided by Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan, also accredited in Iraq, Elman Arasly, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports.
He said a delegation of the Jordan Ministry of Education has been staying in Baku since Tuesday for participation in the talks.
Bilateral discussions on strengthening ties between the two countries in the sphere of education, mutual recognition of diplomas, exchange of students and teachers, conduction of various conferences and symposiums with participation of Azerbaijani and Jordan scientists will continue in Azerbaijan's Ministry of Education today.
According to Arasly it is planned to sign due documents which will reflect cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Education Elmar Kasumov represents the Azerbaijani side at the talks.
Jordan delegation will be received by Azerbaijan's Minister of Education Misir Mardanov.
The visit will last until the end of the week.
