One of the private companies plans to import Mercedes E-200 taxis to Azerbaijan, in the nearest future, said the country's ministry of transport.
“The first shipment of 600 yellow Mercedes E-200s will be delivered in March-April. By the end of year, 3,200 Mercedes taxis will be imported,” said the ministry.
The ministry refused to name the taxi company which will import luxury cabs.
The Tariff Council will set price per kilometer for the taximeter cabs.
