Some 30,000 hectares of territory were polluted in Absheron Peninsula, Azeri land and Cartography Committee Chairman Garib Mammadov said.
He said these territories underwent man-caused erosion and oil pollution, adding that specialists inventory the areas and assess the extent of pollution, APA reports.
