Georgia will receive 1,3 million cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas per day until April 1 at USD 120 per 1000 cubic meters, instead of 1 million cubic meters as agreed previously, the state-run Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) said on February 16.

The relevant agreement was reached during the visit of Alexander Khetaguri, General Director of the GOGC, to Baku on February 15-16.

According to the GOGC's press office, the increased amount of gas will not come from Azerbaijani's Shah-Deniz field, but from other sources of Azerbaijan.

Since January 2007 Georgia has already received 30 million cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas, according to GOGC. Civil Georgia
