"In 2006 the project spent $269mln in capital expenditure versus the target of $160mln, and in 2006 we are planning to spend $41mln in capital expenditure on South Caucasus Pipeline activities," BP-Azerbaijan President Bill Schrader told at the 2006 results media briefing.

In 2006 the construction and commissioning of the SCP was successfully completed in 2006 and it was tied-in with the Turkish pipeline system at the Georgian-Turkish border in December. The pipeline is currently filled with commissioning gas and is ready to deliver gas to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, APA reports.
