Moscow mayor Yuri Lujkov issued an executive order on closure of Cherkizovo market, one of the biggest markets in Moscow.

According to the decision, trading departments, generally, 18 establishments will be closed beginning from July 1. This process should be completed till the end of this year.

Department for Interior Affairs and prefecture of Eastern administrative district have been charged with ensuring social tranquility. A big dwelling complex is expected to be built in the territory where the market exists.

Cherkizovo market is owned by Azerbaijani businessman Telman Ismayilov, APA reports.
