"We agree to support construction of a new electricity transmission line from the Republic of Azerbaijan through the territory of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey, as well as other appropriate projects, which will enhance electricity exchange between the Parties in future," a declaration signed by Georgian and Azerbaijani Presidents Mikheil Saakashvili and Ilham Aliyev, respectively and by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reads.

Tbilisi Declaration on Common Vision for Regional Cooperation also notes that by implementing major regional projects, involving oil and gas pipelines and railway, three states establish "long-term and predictable" relations.

The Declaration also says that a joint working group will be set up to look into additional investment projects.

"To contribute to the common perspectives of the region we invite our neighbors to consider joining our efforts," the Declaration reads. Civil Georgia
