Bank told the APA that its loan portfolio rose 98.1%, year-over-year, to AZN 41,994,500.

Bank's deposit portfolio more than doubled to AZN 37,981, 900, including year-deposits of AZN 21,160,300 made by individuals (up 30.2%).

AtaBank's net profit rose 77.4% to AZN 592,600 during 2006.

Bank increased its authorized capital to AZN 8.5mln by full flotation of AZN 1.5mln stocks. The meeting of shareholders decided to increase the capital by additional AZN 3mln. The issue prospectus has been sent to the State Committee for Securities.

AtaBank opened Yasamal and Baku Branches last year and intends to open 2 offices, 1 branch and 2 regional offices this year.
