As of December 31, the leasing portfolio of Azerbaijan's AtaLeasing Company amounted to US $1,484,505 in 2006.
The Company head office told the APA that 89% of the portfolio was provided in Baku, 4% in Sumgait, 2% in Yardimli, 2% in Aghstafa, 1.6% in Barda. As to the classification of leasing for sectors, 49% was used for construction, 17% in transportation, 14% in foodstuffs, 5% in industrial production, 3% in road infrastructure and 12% in other fields. AtaLeasing gained a profit of AZN 63,500, of which ratio to the capital was 14%, to assets was 4.8%. Its nominal capital makes AZN 500,000 of which AtaBank owns 36% and AtaHolding 64%.
