During 2006 the Finance Ministry's Department for State Control over Insurance carried out examination in six insurance companies and revoked the license of Londongate Insurance Company 2006 because of irregularities.
The Department chairman, Namig Khalilov, told the APA that most of the irregularities in the company are related to the insurance payment and it was warned to remove the shortcomings. He said that over 40 complaints about insurance payment were received from the insured. 90% of the complaints are related to automobile insurance.
