During last month 78.6m kilowatts of electricity were imported from Iran, 36.1m kilowatts from Turkey and 12.6m kilowatts were generated in the Araz Hydroelectric Power Plant, 21.15m kilowatts in Araz thermal power plants.

121m kilowatts of electricity were received by the Nakhchivan grid during December, 2005, APA reports.

Nakhchivan electricity grid received a total of 1,172m kilowatts of electricity in 2006, of which 624.3m kilowatts were received from Iran, 325.4m kilowatts from Turkey, 101.5 from the Araz Plant, 119.2m kilowatts from thermal power stations and 2.1m kilowatts from newly commissioned Vaykhir Hydroelectric Power Plant.
