Enterprises and institutions (except agricultural ones) operating in Azerbaijan have gained an income of AZN 721.6mn and have had a deficit of AZN 79mn in the first half of this year.
The profit rose AZN 256mn or 55% as against 2005’s respective period and 69.8% (AZN 503.9mn) of this income came from industrial enterprises. Transportation enterprises worked at a profit of AZN 49.6mn (6.9% in total income), communications ventures worked at a profit of AZN 44.6mn (6.2%), building companies worked at a profit of AZN 30.6mn (4.2%). As APA reports, industry worked at a deficit of 65.3%, transport worked at a deficit of 12.5%, finance a deficit of 5.7%, trade and service at a deficit of 3.8%. As of April 1, mutual accounts receivable of the enterprises and institutions constituted AZN 4631.7mn.
