The credit portfolio of the Azerbaijan Bank for Micro-financing (MFBA) on the results of 2005 made up $17,5 million, having grown three times.

This indicator is 169 % more than it was by 1 January 2005, Trend reports.

9608 credits have been allocated to entrepreneurs during the last year and the total number of credits reached 18, 285 from the moment of the bank establishing till now.

The MFBA assets having increased by 134% for the last year, made up approximately $22,4 million. The MFBA data for 2004 was over $9,3 million. The MFBA depozit portfolio reached $650,000, the main part of which is formed on the account of deposits of physical entities. Under restrictions which according to the old banking legislation were applied to the newly established banks, MFBA set to acceptingdepozits only since May 2005.
