The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) intends to sell at least 250 thousand chip-cards to clients in 2006.
As APA reports, the aforementioned volume has already been obtained by the Bank in December last year. In January IBA sold more than 10 thousand chip-cards to clients and replaced former magnetic cards with chip-cards.
At the same time, IBA officials do not exclude that if the demand increases, the initially planned number of chip-cards can also be raised.
