For the first half year Azerbaijan paid 4,2 million USD for membership in international organizations.

The press service of the Finance Ministry told Trend.

According to the report, 1,5 million USD from this amount have been paid to the international financial institutions. The greatest amount of membership fees falls at the Asian Bank of Development, the Islamic Bank of Development, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and so on.

2,7 million USD were membership fees in the international public and political organizations – the Council of Europe, UNESCO, OSCE, UNICEF, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization and others.
