By 2010 Eni, Inpex, TotalFinaElf and Conoco-Phillips companies will deliver from Kashagan field in Kazakhstan 500,000 barrels of oil a day (25 million tons a year) to Baku by tankers, Trend reports.

The companies enter the BTC Co. and also participate in the development of the Kazakh project.

Part of oil will be delivered via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. «In this period some 40-42 million tons of oil will be supplied through the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field a year via the pipeline with the total capacity of 50 million tons a year,» the same source said.

Part of oil lifted from Kashagan will be delivered via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline. It is also planned to transport oil via the ‘northern route’.
