World Customs Security Exhibition II-Forum started in the Sport and Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev yesterday.

The event is held in Baku for the first time with the initiative of State Customs Committee and World Customs Organization and will last till May 22.

The organizer of the exhibition is "Iteca Caspian"-exclusive partner of "ITE Group PLS" of Great Britain in the Caucasus. Addressing himself to the audience first "Iteca Caspian" director Farid Mammedov stated that, the exhibition brought together 45 companies from 12 countries of the world. Stands on observation, management systems, experiment and discovery, special security equipments, consulting and insurance services are displayed in the event.

Forum "Customs and law enforcement services and security of international trade" will be held in the frame of the exhibition on 20-21 May. The forum will bring together around more than 200 representatives from 37 world countries. The forum will involve representatives of 10 international organizations, too. The goal is to create useful condition for holding discussions on the improvement of customs services by applying secure environment and new technologies in the world.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Head of State Customs Committee Kemaladdin Heydarov stated that, the first exhibition on this matter was held in Budapest, capital of Hungary:" Holding the exhibition in Baku is very important for our country. I hope, this exhibition will create opportunity for further extension of relations among customs organizations of different countries".
