Azerbaijan Airlines - "AzAL" State Company is going to buy new planes.

This was stated to APA by the deputy chief of the sales department of the company Niyazi Hasanov.

According to him, "AzAL" has 4 "Boeing 757", 1 "Airbus-220" planes at present.

As these planes are not enough, the company will buy one "Boeing", 3 "Airbus-A-319" planes.  

"Airbus-A-319" planes of French production will be brought to Baku till the end of the year. 4 "AN-140" planes are considered to be bought from Ukraine. Documents within the purchase of two planes of this kind have been registered officially.

The other two planes are expected to be bought in the nearest time. "AzAL" uses "AN-140" planes in the flights of short distance. Currently these planes are used in Baku-Tbilisi and Baku-Mineralniye Vodi flights.

"AN-140" plane is also planned to be used in Baku-Aktau flights. N.Hasanov stated that, new planes will be used in both in existing and future flights. New planes will help to increase the flights of "AzAL".
