Azerbaijan plans to reconstruct the Bahramtepe - Bilasuvar road which is one of the main roads connecting the south-west and north parts of the country, spokesman for Azeryolservis under the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry Punhan Mursaliyev told Trend on March 27.
"The road reconstruction project will be implemented by drawing down foreign investments," he said.
Mursaliyev said reconstruction of the road will begin immediately after the necessary documentation and technical procedures are prepared.
The Bahramtepe - Bilasuvar road starts from a 115 -kilometre section of the Hajigabul- Behremtepe road and endsat the town of Bilasuvar. It is a continuation of the Mingachevir-station Mingachevir-Bahramtepe and one of the main transport routes connecting the south-west to the north of Azerbaijan. This is a 62 kilometre road.
The Bahramtepe - Bilasuvar road belongs to the third technical category. It has five bridges.
