Two regional airports in Azerbaijan - Lankaran and Zaqatala received an international status, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision on amending the charter and structure of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.

Gabala International Airport was included in the structure of the closed joint stock company in accordance with the decision of the Azerbaijani government.

Moreover, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the structure of the closed joint stock company included Azerbaijan Airlines. The aircraft maintenance administration and the production and economic department of the closed joint stock company were eliminated.

The closed joint stock company also includes Azerbaijan Airlines, Baku's airline Azalhelikopter, Yevlakh's airline Azalagro, National Aviation Academy, Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Ganja and Nakhchivan airports, Azeraeronavigation, Aviation Security Administration, AzalOil fuel and lubricant administration, the international commerce administration, as well as branches and representative offices.

All shares of the closed joint stock company are state-owned. The authorized capital of the closed joint stock company is 784,974,470 manat and formed from the nominal value of shares (392,487,235 shares at par value of two manat).
