State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has been nominated on three positions at a competition held by the Georgian Association of Oil Product Importers and Distributors.
On Friday the representatives of the Georgian government and businessmen attended the event dedicated to summarizing the petroleum products sector's results in 2013.
SOCAR won in following the nominations: the largest taxpayer of 2013 among oil companies; the largest investor among oil companies; the company involved in the most important social projects.
Wissol Petroleum Georgia became the largest employer in 2013.
Other nominations won were as follows: the largest network of petrol stations - Gulf Georgia; the largest taxpayer - Wissol Petroleum Georgia and Gulf Georgia.
