Azerbaijani Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov has said the country`s second communications satellite will be launched in 30 months.
The Minister said a tender was announced for the launch of Azerspace-2 satellite.
"Though it is a closed tender, proposals have been sent to 10 leading companies in the world. I believe the tender will be completed in a few months," he said.
“Two months after the tender is over we will sign a contract with the winner.”
"It will probably be signed in August,” the Minister said.
