In 2013, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $1.35 billion, or 12.5 percent of total foreign trade turnover of Georgia, Gruzstat (the National Statistical Service of Georgia) report on foreign trade said.

The trade turnover between the two countries has increased by 7.14 percent compared to 2012. For comparison, in 2012, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $1.26 billion.

Azerbaijan is Georgia's second largest trading partner after Turkey.

Georgia's trade turnover with the latter amounted to $1.53 billion (14.2 percent). Ukraine ranks the third with $795.13 million share for the reporting period.

Georgia's total foreign trade turnover in 2013 amounted to $10.78 billion, increasing by 5.48 percent compared to 2012.
