In 2013 the Azerigas production association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) constructed 9048.1 kilometres of gas pipelines to enhance the capacity of the gas transportation infrastructure, according to a message from SOCAR.
The 1774.7 kilometre long gas pipelines have also been repaired to ensure the safety and normal operation of the gas transportation infrastructure, SOCAR said.
Aside from that, 1560 gas regulators and 1071 gas cabinets were installed the last year to increase the gas pressure.
Azerigas is engaged in the distribution and sale of gas to customers in Azerbaijan.
