A delegation led by Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski visited Azerbaijan's Ministry Culture and Tourism on December 17 to explore ways of developing cooperation in cultural and tourism field.

Minister Abulfas Garayev briefed the delegation on the cultural achievements and tourism potential of the country.

The sides exchanged views on prospects for the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria cooperation in tourism sphere.

The Azerbaijani minister invited the Bulgarian delegation to participate in a meeting of the UN World Tourism Organization to be held in April 2014 in Baku.

Garayev also said Days of Azerbaijani culture will be held in Bulgaria next year.

The minister also introduced new chief of the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria inter-parliamentary friendship group Rauf Aliyev to the delegation.

Bulgarian ambassador to Azerbaijan Maya Khristova was also present at the meeting.
