With the decrease of temperature below zero degrees Celsius all gas stations operating in Ukraine under the brand of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) have started selling 'Nano' diesel fuel that is specially adapted to low temperatures, according to message of the German BASF concern.

Nano diesel fuel, belonging to F brand, is meant for a moderate temperature and contains low amounts of paraffin. This allows the motor vehicles to operate smoothly at temperature below 22 degrees Celsius.

Nano TM winter diesel fuel was developed by SOCAR jointly with German BASF chemical concern. It was produced on the basis of the diesel fuel produced at the Belarusian oil refinery.

The diesel fuel contains dispregator paraffin, depressor and detergent additives. All these components prevent paraffin deposition, reduce gelling temperature and turbidity, as well as clean the motor vehicle's fuel system from carbon and sulfur deposits.

SOCAR's petrol stations are located in six regions of Ukraine - Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, Rivne and Cherkasy.

BASF is the global leader in the chemical industry. Its portfolio includes chemicals, plastics, special chemicals, plant protection products, as well as oil and natural gas. In 2012 the sales of the BASF reached 72.1 billion euros, while the total number of its employees exceeded 110,000 people.
