Some 24.3 million cargo and 115.7 million passengers were transported via Silk Way corridor (TRACECA) in Azerbaijan in January-July 2013.
According to the State Statistical Committee, in comparison with the same period of 2012, the cargo transportation via the corridor grew 4%, while passenger transportation jumped 7.3% in the reporting period.
Some 36.4% of cargo was transported by railway, while 45.2 % by motor transport, and 18.4% by sea transport, said the Committee.
