Gabala FC fans attack referee

The matches of the 13th round of the Unibank Premier League of Azerbaijan’s football championship were held last weekend.

The match in Gabala ended in a scandal. The local team beat Neftchi 1-0 thanks to the goal from Alexander Chertoganov. In the last minutes of the match arbiter Ramil Diniyev appointed the penalty to Gabala, which caused an outrage of local audience. Even despite this, Farid Guliyev did not realize the penalty, the fans after the match again ran out to the court to settle accounts with the referee. The law enforcement officers had to sweat to retake the referee from the hooligans.

In the central match of the round Inter and Karabakh played a draw 0-0. The leader of Khazar-Lankaran was unable to beat Revan at home-1-1.
