Azerbaijan ‘interested’ in developing relationship with Turkey

“Azerbaijan and Turkey have always taken strong steps to develop the historically brotherly relations,” said Azeri MP Fuad Muradov.

Head of the World Federation of the Turkish Fighting Art of Soyokan,Yabgu Nihat Igid, President, Ph.D. at the Karabuk University, Unal Ozdemir, and Vice president Ph.D., Mucahit Coskun,visited the Azerbaijan Soyokan Federation where they met with the leadership of the National Council of the Azerbaijani Youth Organizations.

The Council`s Chairman, MP Fuad Muradov said both countries were interested in expanding and deepening the bilateral ties. “The Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents continue taking such steps at the highest level.”

“We are always ready to support each other in the spheres of sport, culture and other fields. Azerbaijan is always interested in developing the common values and contributes to this issue. I believe we will provide the necessary support for the spread and development of the Fighting Art of Soyokan in Azerbaijan,” Muradov said.

Nihat Igid said the sports have a great role in strengthening of the Turkish unity.

Member of the Council leadership, Head of the Healthy Development and Education NGO Anar Khalilov said the Azerbaijani government strongly supports the development of the sports in the country.

“We can say that all sport fields are at the highest development stage in the country. I hope that the Azerbaijani youth will be interested in the Soyokon generating from our national values,” he added.
