Azeri wrestlers to vie for medals in European Nations Cup in Russia

Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete in the European Nations Cup on Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling to be held in Russian capital Moscow on November 11-13. Azeri freestyle wrestlers led by coaches Saypulla Absaidov and Firdovsi Umudov include Mahmud Mammadov (55 kg), Togrul Asgarov (60 kg), Emin Azizov (66 kg), Alexander Gostiyev, Ibrahim Yusubov (both 74 kg), Novruz Temrezov (84 kg), Haji Alijanov (both 96 kg) and Aslan Dzebishov (120 kg).

In Greco-Roman event Azerbaijan will be represented by Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), Kamran Mammadov (60 kg), Rasul Chunayev and Azad Aliyev (both 66 kg), Rafig Huseynov and Emin Ahmadov (both 74 kg), Fuad Aliyev (84 kg), Araz Hasanov (96 kg) and Maxsim Prokhorov (120 kg).
The event will bring together wrestling teams from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Belarus, Hungary and Bulgaria.
