Young Azeri universal fighters win 5 European medals

Young Azerbaijani universal fighters have brought home a clutch of five medals, including a gold from the European championship in Medyn, Russia. Gold medal came from Nijat Aliyev weighing in at 75 kg.

Other Azeri fighters Elchin Murshudlu, Ravid Mirzabayov and Farid Mirzabayov garnered silver medals, while Bahruz Agayev won bronze. Azerbaijan ranked second in the medal table.
Russia topped the table, while Ukraine finished third.

The tournament brought together 160 universal fighters from 25 countries.
