Winners of Azerbaijan's cross-country race determined

Cross-country race took place in Azerbaijan’s north-western Ismayilli region. Chief arbiter of the championship Rahim Khalilov said in men’s event Rashad Mammadov from Gusar showed the best results running 10 kilometers for 45 minutes. In women’s event, Mahira Ismayilova from Baku was the best running 6 kilometers for 27 minutes 23 seconds. Medals were awarded also in three other age categories.

Girls. 4 km. Sabina Asgarova (Baku) - 19 min 06 sec

Born in 1993-1994
Boys. 3 km. Sakit Verdiyev (Balakan) - 11 min 01 sec
Girls. 2 km. Olga Trendeleva (Baku) - 9 min 39 sec

Born in 1995 and later
Boys. 2 km. Vali Mammadov (Baku) - 7 min 37 sec
Girls. 1 km. Yana Zahraddinova (Baku) - 3 min 49 sec


In total, the championship was attended by over 110 athletes.
