Azerbaijani chess club to compete in European Cup

Azeri chess club SOCAR will vie for medals at the European Cup 2010 due to take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in October. Azerbaijan's squad will include Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Aleksandr Grishuk, Aleksey Shirov, Teymur Rajabov, Maksim Vashye-Lagrov, Rustam Kasimjanov, Rauf Mammadov and Eltaj Safarli. The tournament will bring together 52 clubs.
