1,565 sportsmen to get together in Baku for World Fencing Championship

Secretary General of the Fencing Federation of Azerbaijan Ramin Mammadov gave a press conference today to brief on the World Fencing Championship of Youth and Cadets to be held in Baku on April 2.  

“General Assembly of the International Fencing Championship will be held in Baku prior to the championship which will open on April 2 and last through April 10,” he said.

As many as 1,565 fencers from 87 countries worldwide have applied to participate in the championship, Mammadov added.
