Azerbaijan announce squad for 2018 UWW Senior Men’s Freestyle Wrestling World Cup

Azerbaijan have named a squad for the 2018 UWW Senior Men’s Freestyle Wrestling World Cup to be held at Carver Hawkeye Arena in Iowa, USA on April 7-8.


Azerbaijan’s squad includes 13 wrestlers. Azerbaijan are pitted against Cuba, Russia and Kazakhstan in Pool B. Pool A consists of teams from USA, Iran, Georgia and Japan.


Azerbaijan won the World Cup in 2004 and 2009.
