Baku City Circuit (BCC) has announced that tickets for the 2017 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be available to purchase online via www.bakucitycircuit.com from December 1, 2016.

The second successive Formula 1 race to be staged on the streets of Azerbaijan’s capital city is provisionally scheduled to take place on the weekend of June 16-18, 2017.

Furthermore, BCC is offering fans a limited supply of special ‘early bird’ discounts of up to 30 percent on the cost of all 4-day tickets. This exciting offer will be available until January 31, 2017, after which the cost of tickets will revert back to their original price.

A 4-day ticket includes grandstand access to not only the three days of racing as well as all accompanying entertainment offerings but also to a special Pit Lane Walk on Thursday 15th June. This unique experience will allow fans to enter the sport’s inner sanctum where they can witness the teams’ engineers and mechanics applying the finishing touches to the cars in their respective garages.

This year’s inaugural F1 race weekend in Baku was widely recognized as a huge success, displaying not only the visual splendor of Azerbaijan’s stunning capital, but also introducing one of the most challenging circuits on the F1 calendar to a global audience of millions.

Indeed, the sight of F1 cars driving along the narrow, winding stretch of track by the city’s old town walls has already become one of the iconic images of the 2016 season.

The race also confirmed the newest street circuit in F1 as the fastest of its kind, with a new F1 street circuit speed record set by Valtteri Bottas (recording an official speed of 366kph along the circuit’s main straight, later unofficially recorded as reaching an astonishing 378kph) while it also delivered the joint-fastest pit stop of all time by the Williams Martini Racing team (on Felipe Massa’s car), matching the existing Red Bull record of 1.92 seconds, previously set at the U.S. Grand Prix in 2013.

BCC’s Executive Director Arif Rahimov welcomed the announcement and urged fans to make sure they don’t lose out on this excellent discount opportunity.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of our ticket sales for the second Formula 1 race weekend in Baku next summer. It was important to us to offer fans something special ahead of the return of F1 to Azerbaijan and we believe that our early bird discount offering will act as a strong incentive for people from both home and abroad to book their weekend tickets as early as possible. We are excited to showcase our beautiful city and race track to the world once more and continue to establish this event as one of the unmissable race weekends on the F1 calendar. Last summer proved that F1 and Baku are a perfect fit and I encourage all fans to come and experience the 2017 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe for themselves in this wonderful city. I would advise fans wishing to celebrate with us in June to act fast and get their tickets while they are still available!”

A variety of ticket options are on offer for the 2017 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe, including various packages for the Absheron Grandstand, which will offer fans some fantastic views of the start/finish lane, as well as a wide range of different Grandstand seating options, located at various corners and straights along the track.

In addition to the discounted 4-day ticket offering, special ‘Junior’ tickets at the Khazar and Bulvar Grandstands for children aged 2-15 will also be made available at reduced prices during this limited timeframe to families travelling to the event together.

Daily Roaming Tickets will also be on offer to those preferring to watch the action from different locations on the track on various standing areas and podiums.

Discounted 4-day ticket prices range from 150 – 550 manats ($87-$320) while the daily Roaming Tickets will range from 60-150 manats (cost in US$ will be determined by currency rate on day of purchase).

With only 2 months to avail of this special discount offer to witness the world’s greatest race cars once again speed through the streets of this stunning city, the message from

Baku City Circuit to the world’s F1 audience is very simple: get your early bird tickets while you still can and join us in Baku in 2017!
