FIG World Cup to help popularize Azerbaijani culture - gymnastics fan

Such events as the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku increase interest in this sport in the country, a gymnastics fan Xatire Zulfugarova told Trend July 24.

“It is a great pleasure for us to watch gymnastics competitions and we are very glad that Azerbaijan hosts such major events,” she said.

“Our athletes perform very well. We believe that they will be able to win,” added the gymnastics fan.

Zulfugarova pointed out that holding such international events in Azerbaijan plays an important role in popularizing the Azerbaijani culture in the world.

“The whole arena has been decorated with our national carpets and miniatures. Spectators from other countries see this and become more familiar with our culture,” she added.
