German gymnast wins uneven bars gold medal

German gymnast Lina Philipp grabbed the gold medal in uneven bars event at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics in Baku.

She scored 14.400 points.

Brazilian athlete Daniele Matias Hypolito won the silver medal (13.800 points), while another Brazilian gymnast Flavia Lopes Saraiva captured the bronze medal (13.250 points).

Azerbaijani gymnast Yulia Inshina has ranked eighth by scoring 10.450 points.

The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku Feb. 19 and is to end Feb. 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
