Azerbaijani men`s team rank 3rd at European Team Chess Championship

The Azerbaijani men's chess team rank third at the European Team Chess Championship 2015 in Reykjavik as they beat the Netherlands 2.5-1.5 in the sixth round.

Arkadij Naiditsch won his match, while Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov and Rauf Mammadov played to draw.

Meanwhile, the Azerbaijan women's team lost 1.5-2.5 to Poland.

The men`s team will take on Latvia, while the women`s team will lock horns with Armenia in the seventh round of the tournament.
