Azerbaijani judo fighters win 2 medals at European Youth Olympic Festival

Azerbaijani judo fighters have claimed 2 medals, including a gold medal in the 13th European Youth Olympic Festival, in Georgia.

The gold medal came from female fighter Shafag Hamidova, while Ibrahim Bayramli grabbed bronze medal of the Olympic Festival in the men`s 50kg weight division.

Azerbaijan`s squad included 35 athletes in Olympic Festival.

Ceremony was started with delivering 50 flags of European counties to the centre of the stadium.

Six days event was organized with support of 1500 volunteers for 2500 young athletes and 200 guests.
