Azerbaijani boxers win two world medals

The 2014 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships took place at the Halla Gymnasium in Jeju, South Korea from November 13 to 25.

As a total 21 teams joined the competition.

Azerbaijani female boxers have claimed two medals at the World Championship in Jeju, South Korea.

Yana Alekseyeva grabbed silver in the 60kg class after losing to Irish Katie Taylor in the final.

Another Azerbaijani boxer, European champion Elena Vystropova at 69kg won bronze medal of the tournament.
