Azerbaijan’s minister of youth and sports meets with UNDP administrator

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Azad Rahimov has met with the Administrator of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Chairperson of UN Developemtn Group, Helen Clark.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the currently implemented projects and state programs in youth sphere, as well as the prospects for mutual partnership, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports said.

The discussions were also held on the Global Forum on Youth Policies to be held on October 28-30, 2014 in Baku convened by the government of Azerbaijan, UNDP, UNESCO and Office of the United Nations Secretary General's Envoy on Youth.

Helen Clark said the forum will be a greater and successful step in global youth field and will create new opportunities in this sphere.

Azad Rahimov added that 700 participants from more than 200 countries will join the Global Forum which aims to further explore new prospects for youth policies, take measures for the future development of the field and implement exchange programs on youth policies with different countries.
