Azerbaijani grandmaster leads Benasque Open tournament

Azerbaijani grandmaster Vasif Durarbayli is leading the table of the 34th Benasque International Open tournament in Spain.

Durarbayli defeated Indian Vishnu Prasanna in the 7th round of the tournament to increase his points to 6.5.

The tournament involves 413 players, including 37 grandmasters.

The Swiss system tournament features 9 rounds.
